How to add a flight
- Tap the + icon to record manually, or
- Tap the file icon to create from an IGC file stored on your device or Google Drive, or
- Share a record (IGC) from another app such as XCTrack to this app.
How to edit a flight
- Select a flight in the list and tap the pencil icon .
About the items to enter
- If you create the record from an IGC file, most items are entered automatically.
- You can name the takeoff and landing places manually. Once set in a record, the names are assigned automatically from the nearest place in previous records.
- Weather (Clear sky, Overcast, etc.), Sky Condition (Ridge, Thermal, etc.) and Landing Condition (Safety, Crash, etc.) are free text. By tapping the field (you may need to tap again), you can also select from a list of common entries.
View 3D path in Google Earth
- If the record was created from an IGC file, your flight path is shown on the map at the top. Tap the “Google Earth” button to see the path in Google Earth.
- Animation view is a beta feature. You cannot see it on a smartphone — save the project in Google Earth, then open it with the Google Earth app on a PC.
How to print a record
- Use the three-dot icon at the top right of the screen and select “Print”.
- You need a printer that supports printing from a smartphone. If you don’t have one, you can still save to a PDF file from the print view.
How to filter flights
- Tap the filter button and set your criteria.
How to see flight statistics
- First, filter to the flights you want. Then tap the analytics button .
- To close the analytics view, tap the analytics button again.
